Definition of Wellness

Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness. It is a dynamic process of change and growth.

Making physical activity a part of your daily routine is essential for building and maintaining health. The experts at Aha! Wellness Coaching (AWC), in collaboration with their learners, design functional wellness, fitness, and nutritional plans based on personal health goals and individual fitness levels. By varying the intensity, duration, type, and frequency of our learners’ workouts, our fitness and lifestyle management program helps in enabling learners to improve in all areas of physical, spiritual, social, and environmental health. Each plan is customized for each member. These plans also integrate and account for existing medical conditions, eating habits, and recovery activities to ensure safe and consistent progress.

Why should I care about wellness education/coaching?

It’s because there is a connection between nutrition, physical activity, and the well-being of individuals and/or families. So far, whatever you have been doing is not working. You need a partner, someone to help you focus. This is your chance to get a completely customized roadmap to health, developed with your health history, lifestyle, desires, and specific goals in mind.

 

How can Coach Zaundra help me?

When you know better, you do better! It’s harder to go at it alone and so much more fun when we do it together. Many of us maintain several healthy habits in our lives. One person may be a fitness enthusiast, another may abstain from alcohol and tobacco, while another may maintain a healthy daily diet.


How can I help you if I am not healthy? I began eating proportionally. I lost 60 pounds and it is now 17 years and almost 70 years young, I feel good and want you to celebrate life with me!

Wellness and behavior change doesn’t happen overnight. Overall, wellness is much like a puzzle and a high level of wellness is only achieved when each piece of this puzzle is in place. As your wellness coach, I can assist the individual in correcting his or her missing piece of the puzzle.


As your wellness coach, I might address your needs with tips for self-managing: holistic meditation, your physical activities, coping with stress, overeating, diet change, prediabetes/diabetes behavior changes, or any number of health-related issues. As your coach, I will motivate, guide, and provide you valuable resources to provide you with the necessary tools you will need to make your necessary life/habit changes. AWC will ease you into becoming more accountable to a healthier lifestyle without guilt.
